Payment & ordering information
Goods are sold at nett price in Singapore dollars.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express through PayPal for orders within Singapore and overseas.
Payment can also be made by Fund transfer through ATM machine or Internet Banking for Singapore customer.
FREE shipping within Singapore for orders $25.00 and above.
For orders under $25.00, there is a single $7.00 shipping & handling charge.
For international orders, shipping charges applies and depends on your location and the weight of the total order. Please note that the shipping rates we charge do not include or cover any customs fees or taxes that the destination country may impose.
You will be responsible for paying any such charges once your package reaches your country.

Please note that we cannot accept P.O Box address and we do not bear responsibility for unsuccessful delivery if the shipping address you provided is incorrect.

Stock Availability
At times item is sold out before our automated inventory system is updated.
When this occur our customer service will let you know by email and we will refund you the amount accordingly.

Return and cancellation policies

Return
While we are confident that you will be happy with your purchases, if however, for any reason you wish to return a product we accept returns subject to the following conditions:

You must email to return@talesandjourneys.com stating the reason for return. You will receive a reply from us with the address to mail the returns to.

You must return the product in its original, re-saleable condition including the packaging within 21 days of purchase (30 days for overseas buyer), based on invoice date.

Please inspect items carefully before returning them.

You must include a copy of your invoice together with the return.

We will credit your return using the same method of payment but excluding the incurred freight/shipping charges

The returns must be packed in its original mailing box to ensure the return is not damaged in anyway during transit.
We advice you return to us by registered mail or Speedpost so that item can be tracked and not lost.
We will not bear responsibility if item is damaged or lost during postal and refund will not be processed.
We will not bear the shipping charge of the return. We are unable to do local meet-ups to receive returns.

 

Defective goods
We always ensure that are goods are in good condition before shipment. However, if there're any defects:
Please report to us within 7 days after goods received and returned within 21 days of purchase (30 days for overseas buyer), based on invoice date.

Please email to return@talesandjourneys.com stating the defects in detail. If there's no clarification needed, you will receive a reply from us with the address to mail the goods to.

For items that are defective, we will credit your return using the same method of payment including incurred freight/shipping charges, (if any). Please provide us the postal/shipping charge receipt.

We are unable to do exchanges. Exchanges will be treated as a refund.

All sales are final on Sale or clearance Items

PLEASE NOTE: Tales & Journeys can not be held responsible for items once they have been altered from their original state (i.e. penmark, soiled etc)

 

Cancellation
Please notify us if there’s any cancellation within one hour of placing your order.
To cancel an order, please contact us via email at customerservice@talesandjourneys.com.
Cancellations requested after one hour may be subjected to a 20% restocking fee if the items have already been packed for shipment.
If order has already been collected for shipping and still with the postal service for us to retrieve the order, 50% of the shipping charge still applies and we will only refund you the value of the order and half of the shipping charge.
If order has already left the post service and is in transit to its destination, we will have to treat this as Return. Please read return policy

 

Order processing

We only ship and process orders on working days that includes Monday - Friday, excluding our public holidays.

 

Customers Databases/Privacy

Customer information is not sold to or shared with any other parties without prior consent of our customers.
Any information we collect from you is used for our own marketing purposes and is not shared or sold to other companies. We market via direct mail and email only and use no telemarketing.
If you would like to be removed from either our mailing list or email list, just click "unsubscribe"  at the bottom of the our marketing email and we will promptly remove you from our database.
